  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa and salt
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, stir in the vanilla.
  4. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk, then add the pomegranate. Beat well then fill the muffin cups 3/4 full.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. For the icing, make sure to whip up the butter and cream cheese until completely smooth and creamy. Then add in the sugar
  7. you can add some pomegranate juice to the icing (be careful to adjust icing mixture so not to become too runny), this will provide it with a bit of colour.
