- 1 1/3 cups slivered almonds
- 1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 4 tbspn Flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/4 stick butter melted
Servings: cookies
Instructions
- Grind almonds in a food processor until very finely chopped.
- In a large bowl, mix together almond, brown sugar, flour and salt.
- Add egg, vanilla and melted butter beat it together until combined.
- Line cookie sheets with aluminum foil, making sure to leave at least three inches between each cookie, as they will spread during baking.
- Almonds can be replaced with any other nut or oats
- Bake at 350F for 12 minutes or until brown
