- 4 oz butter
- 2 oz granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 5 oz plain flour

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to gas mark 4 (170°C / 350°F)
- Grease / paper two baking trays.
- Cream the butter and soguar together, until light and fluffy.
- Add the extract, salt and egg to the mixture. Continue to mix until all ingredients have combined.
- Slowly add the flour to the mixture.
- Get a piping bag and pop all of the mixture inside. Depending on the size of cookie and design, select the nozzle which suits best.
- Pipe out the cookies on to the baking trays.
- Sprinkle sugar over the top.
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 mins, until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
