- 225 g butter softened
- 125 g firmly packed light brown sugar
- 65 g granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200 g plain flour
- 240 g rolled oats
- 240 g chocolate chips

Instructions
- Pre heat the oven to Gas Mark 4 (350F/170C)
- Grease/paper a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, mix together the butter and sugars until creamy and smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla extract.
- Stir in the salt, 1/2 the chocolate chips, baking soda, baking powder, flour and rolled oats.
- Spread the mixture out onto the baking tray.
- Then sprinkle and remaining chocolate chips over the top and use a rolling pins to gentle push them into the mixture.
- Place in the centre of the oven of approximately 25-30 until golden brown.
