- 1 cup warm water
- 1/3 cup of white sugar
- 2-1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cups bread flour

Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water, and then stir in the yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam
- Mix salt and oil into the yeast. Mix in one cup of flour at a time. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well-oiled bowl and turn dough to coat. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow to rise until doubled in size. This will take about 30-60minutes.
- Punch dough down. Knead for a few minutes, and divide in half.
- Shape into loaves, and place into greased baking tins.
- Allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until the dough has risen 1 inch above the pan.
- Bake at 350F (175C) for 30 minutes.
